Local Celebrity gossips Dallas B looks forward to court date with Mercury Intl Local rapper, Lansana Bah (a.k.a Dallas B) seems to be running out of patience and is now threatening to take gambling company Mercury International to court. KES learnt the Dancehall King is angry after the company allegedly failed to pay him money he claimed to have won early April this year. Dallas B is reportedly claiming a whooping Le47 million from three out of nine tickets which he believed he won. At a time when the music industry is really short of cash, the musician is desperate- having made several visits to the company continuously claiming for money. However, sources at Mercury International said that the claims are baseless as the lottery tickets were thought to have been played after the deadline time. Other sources say there is also a belief that he might have collaborated with computer staffs at the company for alleged winning tickets. Whatever, Dallas B is threatening court action pointing to the many controversial cases involving cancelled winning tickets at Mercury good as a case. We’re looking forward to see if the musician will truly end up in the court room with Mercury.
Buberry left fuming after deserted launching Singer of current hit tracks, ‘Kurbukor’ and ‘Tit n tong’, Buberry is a disappointed man at the moment. Although he currently has the most popular songs around- he is still gnashing his teeth as to the fundamental mistake he made at the East vs West TBS music contest on Easter Monday. Buberry said he was only trying to make a humorous statement without having the intention to hurt anyone. But he still cannot believe his hard luck. The artist reportedly insulted easterners by asking them if they have taken their bath, and is now paying for that statement. The statement particularly offended easterners, because Bubery was representing the west. Despite pleas before his launching on Saturday at the Brima Attouga Mini stadium, Buberry failed to persuade the majority of easterners, who saw his statement as an insult. To make matters worse, some even threatened to storm the venue of the launching and disrupt the proceedings there. As a result, the artist hired a number of policemen who guarded his show throughout. However, this is lesson to musicians. They must be careful what they say in public. Laurish warns off Boy Alinco
Lady Laurish, who is said to be a regular visitor at the Porshe Night club, is said to have warned off a potential suitor last week at the award winning Porshe Night club in the east of the city. A young guy, who apparently could not recognize Laurish, approached her and and invited her for a chat. The angelic voiced star suddenly went ballistic and told the guy that she was not like the other girls. “Please get off my way,” she’s quoted to have said. The guy, who was later told by club goers that he was trying to lure Lady Laurish, said he did not care; after all who was Laurish to just bark him off like that.
